Horrible. Never enough staff. Residents who need assistance with toilet ing are left sitting in wet or soiled underwear for hours. Management doesn\'t care. It\'s all about the money. Good staff are over worships bad staff stand around on their phones. If you truly love someone don\'t put them in this awful facility.

My grandfather moved into Arden Courts of Susquehanna for Alzheimer's care. So far, we've had no issues. They're very pleasant to deal with. Due to COVID, we haven't been able to get into the facility itself, but they're very kind and caring people. They seem to be taking care of all his needs very well so far. They just have opened up to in-person visitation in their lobby, but it's very limited, and they have it very time constrained. They need to get everybody in, and with all the COVID protocols, it takes a while. The rooms are relatively small, but they're single person rooms. There's a room for TV and dressers, so there's plenty of room for one person. They have ten hours a day of activities that they have planned, so there's something going on pretty much from the time they get up to the time they go to bed if they choose to participate. They try to get him to participate as much as possible. They don't want them sitting in their rooms by themselves all day. I have no complaints at all. They seem to be very pleasant to deal with, and they seem to be taking his needs seriously.

I visited this facility

I did an in-person tour of The Manor At Oakridge. It was a very nice place. I even had signed their contract. The only thing is I went home that evening and after doing some curious thinking about it, I found out it would be much more economical for me/myself to have people come in and provide the same things that they provide. But if I get to where I couldn't do that, I would be there. It was a nice place. The rooms were clean, they were nice, and well kept.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I just moved into The Manor At Oakridge. It's very nice, everybody is very friendly, and they let me have my puppy. The food is not bad, it's not the greatest, and they make everything bland for different people. They have not had the virus. The staff is very nice.

The staff is always considerate, helpful and pleasant. They take very good care of the place. I am very comfortable here and recommend the facility. I like how close it is to the shopping center. \"I don\'t know how much better I could get then here.\"

I visited this facility

It was very nice. The person who we met with was very helpful in explaining the whole process to us. The single rooms were very nice and studio apartment size. They could bring their own furniture, and it had a bathroom. There were no cooking facilities, but they could have a little refrigerator. We saw their activity room and their schedule, and it looked like there was a fair amount going on. The care was adequate, and the staff knew the residents well. The facility was well designed for the work they do.

Brookdale was very good, I really enjoyed it, and that’s one of the places we’re considering. It’s clean, light, they have a lot of activities that the people could do, the staff was fantastic, it had everything one would need. They have shuttle services that come every day to take them to places they wanted to go, they take them to the primary physician, and if they can’t get out, they had doctors come in. They have something going on every day.

My in-laws are staying at The Manor At Oakridge. It's working out really great. They've been very welcoming, and I really like the activities that they have there to keep all of their residents very busy. The staff is very good about answering any kind of questions especially for the sons and daughters. They're really accessible to all of us. We really liked it a lot.

My husband has moved into The Manor At Oakridge. It is a 55-plus community. They don't have a medical staff, but they are very nice people. The place is clean. They feed the residents well. They have activities for them all day long too. I have already told my grandkids that when the time comes and I have to go some place, that's where I want to go! I have eaten there with my husband four or five times now, and the food is always good. It is always hot, it is always a decent portion, and it is fairly nutritious. I'm really impressed. I never expected it to be the way it is. He has a wonderful room. He has almost 600-square feet all to himself; he is in a private room. Right now, my husband is doing very well. The staff members are very friendly and very courteous. They seem to be really concerned about the people's needs. They have a lot of repetitive activities, but a lot of the people like that. They take the residents outside if they want to go; however, it seems like a lot of the activities are geared more towards women. For everything they do for the people, I think the price is reasonable. Everything is just done for them, and I think it is more than a fair price.
