The Tremont was very depressing, and it smelled bad. It wasn't very good. Everything was very outdated, dirty and old. The room that they showed us was pretty old and dirty. The carpet smelled, too. The staff was average, and their amenities were not good at all. They had a swimming pool, but old people are not going to go in a swimming pool. The rooms were more like studios, and they had kitchens.

My grandmother is currently in Brookdale Oviedo, and so far, it's been excellent. Everybody there has been super friendly and helpful. She is very happy. The transition was very easy; I couldn't have asked for it to go better. The food is great, and for her it's actually one of the best selling points. It's restaurant style so they have a menu thmey can choose fro and it gives them the freedom of knowing they're still independent, as opposed to the cafeteria style dining. They also cater to the residents, so if there's something on the menu she doesn't like, and she just wants grilled cheese, they're totally willing to do that. They really go above and beyond. There's usually five or six things to do every day, anything from church services, to movies, to game time, they had a magic show the other day, and they definitely have stuff like outings all the time. There's something going on every single day, and they post the calendars in the elevators, the lobby, and they even deliver to the rooms, so everyone knows what's going on and at what time. Brookdale offers a plan called "elder life" where they offer financial help. For example, I did not have to front all the money to get her in there, and that in itself was huge.

The Tremont was very good. The staff who accommodated me was kind and very friendly. There were different sizes of rooms. They had a swimming pool, some games, different rooms for different activities, and a beauty salon. I loved it. It was like living in a cruise. It was very comfortable and very nice. They had friendly people, too.

The Tremont was great. I loved it, and that's where mom wants to go. The size and layout of the apartments were fine. We needed a studio and that worked out fine. I saw people doing things, and there was a game room. They had movie nights, shopping, boat cruise, and gambling. The social activities were pretty interesting. The staff was very personable. I had a good grilled cheese sandwich. You can order food all the time. The facility was very well kept.

The Tremont is excellent. It's a beautiful place, the staff is great, and everything is perfect. I love it. They have a lot of activities and everything that people would need. They try to keep the people active with all kinds of crafts, movies, music and so on. There's only one issue I don't like about Tremont, which is the same for everybody, and that's the fact that there's only one elevator. There are stairs scattered but it would be good to have more elevators. The staff and amenities are great. They've got arts and crafts classes, bingo, movie nights, and transportation to doctor's offices at different locations at different times. They've also got trips to the mall and public supermarket. The food is very good.

The Tremont was amazing. The staff who showed me the place was so nice, caring, warm, and wonderful. The amenities were great and the facility was wonderful and clean. They had a pool and classes and things the seniors were involved in that were tremendous. The dining room was lovely, and the food was really good. They came by in a cart and you got to pick what you wanted. It wasn't just the staff that was welcoming, but the people living there were wonderful, too. While we were touring, they stopped and engaged with my dad. You could tell that they were really happy.

My parents moved into Brookdale Oviedo. They have a lovely memory care side in addition to their assisted living. Its very clean, very well-kept, and my parents like the food. The dining area is intimate and not too big. The staff seemed to be friendly and alert.

We were told one price, then all of a sudden we found out we had to pay a price for someone to give her her medicine, someone to dress her and so on; it's all separate. Whereas where she is right now, everything is covered. The place is very nice and clean, they were going to give her a private room. The young man who accommodated us was very nice. They had an Alzheimer's section and a regular section. The rooms were beautiful and very nicely decorated. The staff seemed to be nice and friendly. The only problem we had was the funding. It's out-of-pocket. It was nice inside, and they mentioned the activities to us although we didnt see anything while we were there. People were sitting in the wheelchairs out in the lobby, we saw people in the computer lounge room. They look like they were very attentive.

Everybody has been friendly and accommodating at The Tremont. The residents seem to be pretty active. I hope my dad will fit in there because he's not quite as active. The meals are good and the facilities are very lovely. So far, we've been happy with everything there. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and seems to know my dad already even when he's only been there less than two weeks.
