Highland Trail was really nice, but the bedrooms were on the smaller side. The staff member was amazing and called us about the VA benefits that we could get. They had an exercise room and an office where you could use their computers.

My father was in Sunrise at Flatirons. It was pretty good, but they lied to us when they said he could use the gym. He had to have someone with him when he used the gym. They were really nice and it was a beautiful facility, but the con was we ended up having to pay for someone to be with my dad -- almost like a babysitter -- during his last week. It was really stressful and they did not really help us out. They told us he had to leave because they did not want to move him into memory care, which I respected. However, they weren’t helpful at all, and it was really disappointing.

Broomfield Skilled Nursing was nice, and we didn't have any complaints at all. My mom said the food wasn't anything great, but it was acceptable. She had a good room to herself. They did a lot of rehab, bingo, and cards. They had a dining room where they all encouraged the residents to eat every day.

We visited Highland Trail. The staff was less friendly, more business-like, and not quite as accommodating. They have the same amenities as other places, like a big TV with lots of fairly comfortable chairs and different denominations that do some services in the chapel room. It is a nice thing that they have there. The place was very nice. There were one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms, too.

We really like Sunrise at FlatIrons. It has both independent and assisted living. Once the parents are not able to continue with independent living, we only have to move across the hall to the assisted living part. They have rooms where you can do activities and a full range of activities available. The independent living spaces have one-bedrooms or two-bedrooms with living area. The assisted living spaces are like studios where you have two rooms joined by a hall. They also have a kitchenette with a small refrigerator and a microwave.

Highland Trail is excellent. My mother's room is oversized, the food is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and it's in a good location. Everything is complete. She pays for her own landline phone. Other than that, everything else is included. Housekeeping comes in and laundry is free. The place is incredible. If anybody is looking, that's where I will send them.

My relative seems to be pretty happy and doing well at Highland Trail, and they’re doing a good job. The facility is beautiful and very clean, like walking into the Taj Mahal. They have pretty good meals and programs inside, like cards, but I wish they'd take them out more. My relative is staying at a nice one-bedroom apartment with a bathroom with bars to help him with bathing, a living room, and a kitchenette. They offer housekeeping once a week just for towels and sheets. They have physical and occupational therapists and a goodie shop. They have the people wear Life Alert. The staff is very nice.

Everybody at Sunrise at FlatIrons was very nice. The facility was extremely nice as well. They showed me what they had available at the time. They had all the options for furnished rooms or unfurnished ones. The staff member who showed me around was very nice and answered any questions that I had. It was just very expensive.

Highland Trail was very nice. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and very easy to move in. The dining area was very nicely set up and pretty; it's a place where I would be very happy to eat. They had a very nice common area, and there were people in the waiting room getting ready, sitting, and visiting. There was a piano in there, too. They had a library and another big room where they could play games or have meetings.
